Has September been a welcome opportunity for you?  Or a challenge of forward, backward, maybe forward, maybe I’ll just wait?

I find more and more in my Empowerment Counseling practice reminding and educating people to pay attention to the moon cycles.  If ever there was a time that this was front and center, it has been this month where a new moon and solar eclipse occurred on September 1 and a full moon and lunar eclipse appeared on September 16.  Eclipses are opportunities to take big steps along our soul journey with the solar energies reflecting in the outer world (six month shifts) and the lunar energies impacting the inner and emotional realms (one year shifts).  In the midst of all the growth opportunities this month, Mercury (Messenger of the Gods) was retrograde, or in other terms, not helping to move things forward, so the work was to bathe in the solar and lunar glows (or lack of), and ponder what’s real and what is imaginary.

The work of Divinely One is not to detail the astrological happenings of the times.  There are many excellent resources for keeping up with the constantly changing cosmic energies.  Divinely One chooses to bring forth information that can remind people that it’s all connected, and what is happening in the Universal World is also happening in the world around us, global and personal. Most importantly, how can we use these constantly fluid energies in our daily living arena?

No doubt we Virgos were brought to the forefront during this auspicious time, however, when one group is impacted, all groups are impacted.  The other very specific constellations impacted by these Sun/Moon events is Pisces (the polar opposite of Virgo), and the Gemini and Sagittarius squares to Virgo.  If you’re not a fan of Astrology, please don’t be dismissive of this information.  Astrology is known as the science of the Aquarian Age which has been known as the future.  The keynote here is the “Future is Now”. The more humanity can allow the streams of cosmic energy to flow within daily living, the sooner peace and harmony can prevail.

Divinely One uses a specific resource when recognizing the moon cycles, New Moon Astrology, by Jan Spiller.  It’s a great resource for actualizing the benefits offered by the lunar consciousness.  If ever there’s a question about the power of this cycle, there’s the solid reminder that the moon moves oceans, farmers have been using the moon cycles for centuries because it works, and animals and humans respond to these energies whether they are aware or not (been to an emergency room on a full moon?).  This book also offers a bonus for using the opportunities of the moon cycles. It’s called the Granddaddy Wish period, and if one learns to use it effectively, there’s an annual feast for wishes for each person based on their personal astrological design.

Bon Voyage,

Thia
